How To Lose Thigh Fat Fast

by admin on July 31, 2010

Do your thighs look fat in that dress that you want to wear to a party?

Do you hate it when your inner thighs rub against each other?

Do you wear baggy clothes to hide your lower body?

You don’t want to be called thunder thighs behind your back. Thigh fat can look very ugly in a dress and if you think that your thighs have excess fat, then you should start working on losing that fat right away.

But before I tell you how to lose thigh fat fast, I want to make it clear that I am not going to tell you about some magic pills or some magic cream that will make your thigh fat disappear within a week.

And I am sure you can find many websites on the internet that will be promising you something like that.

So, if you are looking for some magic pills or magic lotion, go look somewhere else because on this website, I will only tell you about WHAT WORKS. The websites that claim that these magic pills work wonders are simply ripping you off and if you want to waste your precious time and your hard earned money trying this garbage go ahead and leave. Just do yourself a favor before leaving, bookmark this page so that once you’ve lost your money and time and have realized that the only way to lose thigh fat fast is to work hard and eat smart, you can come back here and learn about what really works. I am not saying it isn’t possible to lose thigh fat in a week, there is, but pills and lotions don’t work.

Now that we have cleared that out of the way, let’s get started on losing that thigh fat.

First of all, there is no way that you can target the fat loss directly to your thighs by eating some particular type of food. Spot reduction is not possible unless you choose to do some type of surgery. When you lose fat, you will lose it from all over your body, and if you thighs have excess fat, then you will lose that thigh fat along with the fat from all over your body.

This is great thing because when losing fat, you will not only lose thigh fat; you will also lose that stubborn belly fat and those flabby arms.

That being said, there are some ways you can expedite the fat loss in your thigh region by exercising particularly hard on the thighs. You can tone your thigh muscles by exercising particularly for your thighs. This will not only help you reduce that thigh fat but will also make your thighs look hot.

There are a few exercises which will tone your thighs and hips and make them look sexy as hell. Make sure you do a little warm up before doing these. A little on the spot jogging should get your heart beat up and prepare your muscles for a workout.

1. Squats: This exercise is so powerful and so effective that it is known as the king of all exercises. If you are in a gym, then you already know how to perform Squats. If not, then here is a short video explaining how to do it.

This video explains the technique very well and also tells you how to do squats to affect your inner thighs. I will recommend that you stay away from YouTube if you want to watch videos for doing squats because there is a lot of misinformation over there and if you don’t get the right technique, you might end up hurting your knees. The most important thing to remember while doing squats is that your knees shouldn’t go over your toes.

Squats effects your entire thighs including the quadriceps and hams along with your core muscles and calves. You can do this at home without any weights, but once you feel you are not getting enough resistance without any weights, you should join a gym to be able to do it with weights.

2. Deadlift: This exercise is perfect to make your hams look sexy. Remember, the hips and hams define the curve of a women’s body. So if you want that dress to look as ravishing as possible, this is the exercise that you should be concentrating on. Here is short video which explains how to do it.

You will need some weights to perform this exercise; you can buy some dumbbells from some local shop and start doing it at home. OR you can join a gym to make it much more convenient.

3. Lunges: This exercise works the quadriceps and hams together. It requires balance and stability. Here is a video explaining how to do it.

I hate lunges. But I still do them because they are so effective. They are great for toning inner thighs. They will show some great results even if you do a few of them everyday. Combine them with the other two exercises I have mentioned above and you will see some great results very soon.

4. Under The Leg Lifts: Again this is a great exercise for your inner thighs and just doing around 40-50 repetitions you will feel a great burn in your thighs.

The video explains this exercise much better than I ever can.

After you are finished with your workouts, you should do some stretching. Many people recommend that you should stretch before your workout. However, it is not a good idea because stretching loosens your joints which may lead to injuries. On the other hand, if you stretch after a workout, it will assist in recovery and will also help your muscles relax.

Remember to take it slowly in the starting. Do as much repetitions as you are comfortable with and then move on to the next exercise. The next day increase the repetitions a little bit and start doing 2-3 sets of each exercise.

There are a lot of other exercises that you can perform to increase your metabolism and assist in the fat loss. But in reality, you don’t need to be working out at the gym all the time to lose your thigh fat. Some people will advise you to run for an hour every day; others will say you should go on a crash diet, and some might even tell you to fast. People give crazy advice sometimes when it comes to weight loss and it is because they have absolutely no idea how to really go about it.

The best way to lose thigh fat, or fat from any other part of your body is to diet and exercise. When combined properly, it will create a synergy effect in your body and you will see amazing results very quickly.

I know you’ve heard it before. And I know there are thousands of diets out there on the internet that promise a lot and deliver nothing. There are a lot of programs that include exercising plus diet and still don’t deliver anything.

I know  most women do not prefer to go the gym, so I am not going to recommend you join a gym and start eating less. The good part about exercising is, if you do just the right amount of exercise and eat just the right amount of food, you can do everything at home and still have fun with it.

Joey Atlas, has a great system that gives you everything that you need to get your thighs in shape. It will tell you which exercises you should do, how much repetitions, how much sets, and exactly what food should you eat to turn your body into a thigh fat burning machine.

This program is called The Ultimate Leg Butt Hip and Thigh Makeover e-Manual and it gets my highest recommendation.

Foods That Help You Lose Fat

by admin on September 5, 2010

When it comes to losing fat, it doesn’t matter if it’s from your thighs or your belly, you must eat a proper diet which assists in fat loss. Eating the right foods will create a synergy effect and will compliment your exercises and workout and expedite the fat loss process.

There are a lot of foods in the market and almost every food manufacturing company out there claims that their product is extremely healthy and will help in fat loss. But if it was so, Obesity wouldn’t have been a problem in America, would it?

Choosing the right type of food is extremely important. Here is the my list of the top 5 food item that help you lose thigh fat.

1. Oatmeal: The perfect breakfast and the perfect meal. Oatmeal contains all the necessary nutrients in appropriate quantity. It contains carbohydrates, fat and protein. To make it even more healthy and delicious, you can add some crushed walnuts to it. If you like your oatmeal sweet, do not add sugar to it, because sugar only leads to more fat. Instead, try something natural which has some healthy benefits like natural honey.

2. Brown Rice: Brown rice is a great source for complex carbohydrate. We need carbs to go about our daily activities. However, most of the carbs that we eat is simple carbs (white rice, white bread sugar etc.) which is definitely a no no if you want to lose fat. The answer is complex carbs which release the energy slowly and keep you energetic throughout the day. In addition, brown rice is very filling so you won’t feel hungry for a long time.

3. Yams: Again a great source of complex carbohydrate. Yams are great because they are tasty and healthy. You can replace them in your meal in place of brown rice.

4. Fish and Seafood: A great source of protein, which is essential for your body and fat loss. But that is not the main reason why fishes are so important. The main reason why fish and seafood are recommended by experts is because it contains Omega-3 fatty acid. Our body cannot product this essential acid and the Western diet lacks in Omega-3 acid. Eating fishes and seafood will increase your overall fitness level which will only result in better and healthier fat loss.

5. Proteins: There are so many sources of protein that it is hard to choose one of them. Eggs, chicken, red meat, fishes, beans etc. Each one of your meal should contain some amount of protein. Just make sure that the protein you choose doesn’t contain a lot of fat unless it is the good type of fat, like in the case of fishes. For red meat, it is recommended to only choose the lean part of the meat because the fat is unhealthy and unnecessary.

There are a lot more delicious choices for healthy food that helps in fat loss. These are just my top 5 food items. A good meal contains all the necessary nutrients, namely carbs, proteins and fat. In addition you always include green leafy vegetables in your meal and eat fruits every day. Vitamins and Mineral are also extremely important and if you miss out on them, it will only slow down your progress.
